I've always had a penchant for researching and sorting through things to find trends and possible solutions. Throughout my several years of experience, I have adapted this natural curiosity to excelling at interpreting data and being able to tell a story with my findings. I have also honed in on being able to quickly understand each stakeholder's needs and presenting the data to them accordingly.
If I can find a way to automate something or make it easier for myself or team members, I think that's a win! My path towards data analysis was founded on my keen interest in automation. It started with learning excel formulas, to VBA/macros, then on to SQL which has completely escalated my skillset. My next learning goals are to increase my knowledge and use of Python and R, when it comes to data analysis and visualization.
Whether it be a job, during my studies, or other activities, I always tend to take a leadership role and thrive in being the nucleus of a group or organization. I naturally listen and understand through both observation and communication, which professionally has been positive since all of my roles have revolved around understanding all aspects in order to help in decision making and solution-seeking. I also have a very global mindset and my understanding of many cultures has also made it so easy for me to adapt in any capacity among anyone.
I have a comprehensive understanding of the music industry landscape, specifically in the realm of copyright and royalties administration for master owners, publishers, and performers. Furthermore, I have a solid undertsanding of the major players in the global music industry arena.
